Palimpsest at Magpie Gallery
My show entitled "Paliimpsest" includes paintings and sculpture in the main exhibit. The show focuses on palimpsests, ocean and sky, and the emerging of what was written (or painted) before and what is below the surface apparent in the present. Small works on paper, photographs and unique monotypes are also available. Exhibit through September 2019.

Venir la Pluie
Inspired by approaching storm in the south of France, here is the painting framed and hanging in its home in Los Angeles.

Now, at the end of the evening, the crowd was thinning out. "Double Vision" was the theme of the show. A great group of interested, enthusiastic people spent time with the work and artists. My painting, "L'Onda" based on the structure of music hangs faces forward.

As a the wave approaches shore, the water becomes increasingly shallow. The bottom reflects more light up through the wave, and the water become brighter as it dances to shore. Italy, 1986. 6239. 25x34 each, watercolor and metallic gouache on Kozo rice paper $5,800. Original triptych beautifully framed, floating on linen, 31.25"x110".

Deep Roots at 20:20 Exhibit
Artworks Downtown, San Rafael, CA celebrates its 20th anniversary this month. All images in the exhibit are 12x12 inches and retail for $200 as a fundraiser for the organization. My piece, Deep Roots, watercolor on wood panel, is in the second row from the top, second image from the left.
